Native people have lived in this valley for close to 20,000 years more. The same families have lived here for 100, 200, 300 plus years. We are in the North valley of Albuquerque New Mexico 87107. We have no pets and no livestock.Īt night this is dark ( we do have solar lights on walk ways ) and it is peaceful. We are located in an area where the birds of the world fly from the north to the south and then change direction each season. Our place is for Wildlife, to be fed, and given water and safe space to raise young. There is a forest and pond for ducks behind the garden. The garden wall around the whole tent area has a 6 foot tall, very thick wall, and trees, surrounding every thing. We are organic gardens ( Urban Permaculture ) that you can stay inside a magical, growing goodness space. We are NOT an RV park nor are we a " camp ground ". Rural feel for an urban / suburban setting, space space, off street parking. Same Hispanic families have lived here since 1712, no joke, that is real. Our Space is in the heart of the Griegos Neighborhood , Ģ023- The Year of the rabbit, run free, run wild ! Eat flowers and herbs. Great WIFI ! Easy to manage a job while on the road. Our place is good for folks who work on the road, It is an honor to serve the traveler, the camper, the many folks who explore and folks on grand adventures. Enjoy hiking, biking, fishing, tubing, kayaking and whitewater rapids, all nearby our property. Close to other charming towns and many outdoor attractions. We are nestled between Bryson City and Cherokee. Our guests love how convenient our location is to the Great Smoky Mountains National Park. This is how we got our name, Hidden Creek Retreat! Hike up our mountain range to locate our second creek. ![]() We have a very clean, private guest bath house, excellent WI-FI and a dump station. Enjoy the game room or play one of our numerous outdoor yard games. As a convenience to our guests, we sell eggs, firewood and ice. Fish or cool off in our creek, which is regularly stocked with trout. We offer both RV and tent camping on both sides of Conleys Creek. We currently have 14 free range chickens, known as The Dixie Chicks! Guests enjoy feeding, petting and collecting their eggs, which are delicious! Our property is completely pesticide free. We have also planted numerous fruit and flowering trees, bushes and flowers for bold color throughout the year. We continue to create numerous gardens with veggies and herbs. We have torn down, and repurposed some of the manufactured homes on the property. We only offer 4 tent spots (first come, first served), as well as 4 RV spots. It has been an ongoing labor of love to transform it into a small, unique RV and tent camping park along beautiful Conleys Creek. It was a run down, small manufactured home park with a farmhouse on it. We purchased our nine acre property a little over two years ago.
